In the preschool class children will learn how to say their alphabet, recognize shapes, colors and also how to count numbers in a series. School journals are used to assign homework on a daily basis. This is a great time for children to learn about jobs to do and responsibilities. Children will engage in imaginative play where they can dress themselves up and pretend. There are several Learning Centers to explore construction, building blocks, books, puzzles and table toys. Children learn to recite the pledge of allegiance as well as do sing-along. Three year old children become very curious about the world they live in and teachers here build on their interest to maximize learning.
